President Lech Kaczynski's

The Polish government said, President Lech Kaczynski's funeral will be held on Sunday as originally planned.

Poland was considering to postpone the funeral because of the dust cloud from the volcano in Iceland caused European leaders and U.S. President can not fly to Krakow.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy said he would not attend the funeral, after German Chancellor Angela Merkel, U.S. President Barack Obama, Prince Charles of England, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and other leaders also expressed pemimpun could not attend.

Meanwhile, on Saturday tens of thousands of people gathered in Warsaw for ceremonies commemorate the late President Lech Kaczynski and 95 other people who died in a plane crash a week ago.

The accident was seen as the worst tragedy in the history of Poland peacetime.

This past week, people put candles in the square and the area around the presidential palace, which is traditionally a sign of condolence statement.

Lech Kaczynski - who was elected as President in 2005 - is seen within and outside the country as a divisive figure.

But this accident is said to have been to unite the Polish political world.
